Instructions-
- This is a Private Treaty telephone auction. You don’t have to be present to bid on the cattle.
- Intitial bids due at dark on Sunday, October 7, 2012 as well as a list of alternate tag numbers that you may be interested in.
- You DO NOT have to bid on every calf you are interested in, one bid will make you eligible for the “bid-off”on any calf in the sale as long as your alternate tag numbers are turned in before we close the books on the 7th
- The cattle will close starting with the highest bid calf first and then we will work our way down until all the cattle are sold. If you have an alternate calf listed, you will be contacted before anything closes and is sold.
Sale Terms
- Sale terms are cash or good check with a valid Drivers License or Social Security Number. ABSOLUTELY no cattle will leave the premises without a secure form of payment in full.
- All cattle must be paid for within 7 days of the sale or they will be offered first to the contending bidder at their last bid, if the contending bidder passes they will be sold First Come, First Served”.
- Out of state cattle may stay on the premises until transportation can be arranged under the following conditions: buyer agrees to pay their feed bill and their vet bill. No cattle will be released until their daily care is settled in full. Hanewich Cattle Co. will care for all cattle free of charge for up to 1 week following the sale and will assist in any way possible to arrange transportation to central points in the US.
- All cattle that are left at Hanewich Cattle Co. premises will be required to carry full mortality insurance in the unforeseen event of an accident.
- All cattle sell under the suggested sale terms of the American Simmental Association, The American Chianina Association, and the American Maine Anjou Association.
- Hanewich Cattle Co. makes no implied guarantees and does not warranty management beyond our control. This includes general health, structure, fertility, and or disposition. ANY female managed and shown competitively is released from any and all breeding guarantees.
- We do our very best here to minimize your risk concerning issues that ALL show livestock may and probably will encounter in the course of their career. We cannot regulate different environments, management/feed practices, or another locations health protocol/biosecurity. WE ARE HERE TO HELP. At the point of sale, all cattle are assumed to be in good health, fertility, and disposition….if you have doubts, please do not place a bid.
